The jews of Lemberg

In 1939, about 100,000 Jews still lived in Lviv. Two years later, almost all of them were murdered. Even today there are empty places in the city, where synagogues used to be.
Please see also the book The Jews of Lemberg, written by Michiel Driebergen and Heleen Zorgdrager.
